Nike SNKRS does something right for once, and they're still garbage.

So last night the SNKRS app sent out notifications to select accounts that there would be a “dessert” waiting for them at 9 AM PST. So you would think if you logged in at 9 AM, or even earlier you would expect a pair reserved. Turned out to be a restock of the Chunky Dunky SB, probably from the initial release that was designed for in store pick up, but you know…corona. Anyways people logged in and a few lucky souls caught dubs, probably people with 50+ accounts through bots, but a majority of people logged in to find they were sold out off the jump. SNKRS has become Nike’s personal instagram. So few people cop off the app that every Saturday you can log into twitter and find “SNKRS” trending, filled with pictures of clowns and Ls. And I’m one of the people that contributes to this cause. After 5 years of SNKRS entries I’ve hit on literally less than 10 releases. Never a SNKRS pass. Never a hyped release. They want a “fair way” to release shoes, but then get botted on the daily and go meh it sells. Worse part is they do exclusive access like this and people still can’t get pairs. There is no perfect way nowadays with bots, but with a company like Nike you would think they would find a better way to solve this problem.
