Air Jordan 1 "Move to Zero" with recycled material: Release info
We’ve spoken a lot recently about recycled material and its role in recent sneaker releases, particularly the Space Hippie collection and Parley sneakers, but now we see photos and info surfacing that Jordan is coming out with another AJ1 with Zoom, this time with recycled materials. These are slated to release in August but there aren’t any official stock photos or information to confirm, so now we can just look in awe at these Jordans and this once again brings up the point I made in an earlier post… is this the year of recycled material? It makes sense. Can’t do too many hyped releases with COVID19. No in store pick up, no SNKRS pass, no in-store promotions to drive sales. This may be the time for Nike to play around with other models and ideas (overreact ISPA, ISPA runner, recycled materials, Quai color ways across the board) in an effort to sell products that wouldn't usually get attention, simply because sneaker culture is dry right now. We’ll see how it plays out, and we’ll let you guys know when release info becomes available. Take a look below and let us know what you think. Images courtesy of earlygvng.
